Lets see it.

I am not sure what mine is, but this is probably up there:

I was testing a waterblock, so I got water from the sink straight in to the block, and poured right back into the sink.

...and yes, the monitor is hanging by a rope.

all of the empty kirkland brand detergent bottles on the chipped up warped desk in the background really add to this piece

I have a new one for you guys.
Today I was taking the engine and gearbox out of a VN commodore. Well I got really really greasy and dusty. So I had a shower latter on and took with me a can of degreaser. I knew very well soap was not good enough to get this stuff off.

My computers are liquid cooled while my vehicles are air cooled.

Ghetto enough case?

I also have a antistatic strap that is connected to the ground wire of a standard 120V power plug.  The other two wires are cut flush and electrical taped over.

Wireless adapter hot glued to the roof with my custom weather protection...yes a soda bottle hot glued to the base...this thing has survived ~17 inches of snow total and many days of rain, only thing that effects it is extremely low temperatures.

Too bad I didnt take a picture of it but as I was coming out of the movie theater tonight, I saw a couple trying to place a full sized couch into the back of a Hyundai Tuscon.  Hilarious as the woman screams at the man while he just stands there scratching his head.  It was so rude of me but I couldn't help but stare and laugh!

Nateman, very nice.  This thread is a mini-this.

bk - that is disturbing on so many levels.
mongoose - very nice!

I never had pics and this was a long time ago, but I didnt have enough molexs on a PSU in an old dell P2 and I had a dead PSU, so I cut off a few molex connectors from the dead one and spliced them onto the good one.  Not bad, right?  Well, I didnt have electrical tape, so I used masking tape instead to prevent shorts - it was like that until I retired the machine a few years later.

Haha..awesome! I knew my little setup would be worth posting. Gotta make use of the open wifi spots around here one way or another.

I only use it when the neighbors are away so they don't get mad.

I like the soda bottle.

Maybe you should switch to a seltzer bottle though, it's clear instead of bright green.

Got a little bit more ghetto..

Remember this..? Took it down to put a different hard rive in it.

Clip that holds the CPU fan down broke off so I had to rig it up a little..

Only idea I had was something to hold it down when I shut the case...a piece of wood...

Works pretty good. Job well done...or something like that.

Fabulously Ghetto test bench.

http://i175.photobucket.c...udster816/IMG_1359.jpg

That piece of wood top has holes drilled for the brass stand offs, and for some reason I decided to use bolts over screws so I could remove it..... The bolts dont touch the motherboard though.

http://i175.photobucket.c...udster816/IMG_1360.jpg

That'll hold my PSU. I need to make somethigns on the side for it though, it likes to move around too much
