71stpsde TWC just upgraded everyone's speed. I was 30/5 and now I'm 300/50. Couldn't be happier!
Very nice upgrade. Did it increase the price at all? If not then that's great.

So you clearly have the gig service. Nice. How much are you paying a month?

Woooops, I should have clarified... Thats my work connection. I only get that at work/when I VPN in. Im personally still stuck in the 30/5 TWC slot. Waiting for them (TWC) to do the free upgrade for us over here in Louisville. As far as gig service, we have 3 x Resident fiber projects starting. Prices will range from $60-$99/mo depending on who gets it up/available.

It's 124.99 here for the gig service. I can't wait for competition to come in the area then that way it'll actually be a bit more reasonable in price.

Comcast now but Google fiber is coming very soon to where I'm at. There's also another fiber option that is where I'm moving to down the road but not an option where I'm at now so I'll be moving to either one of those no matter what to get away from Comcast.

This is the fastest I can get in my area. No viable fiber here yet and all other alternatives are significantly slower.

DAVE2HOT4U I pay 50.00 a month for this crap (http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4942954041
I paid $74 for worse no phone nothing just net. Here we have stupid local owned COOP's they are a monopoly of greed and speed caps. I was paying that for 6mb DSL now we have moved finally out of the dark ages to fiber I pay the same for 100mb now with capped DL @ 11.5mbps I cannot use a bought router if they identify it on network they will kill your service, the routers they give us we have no access to them at all. I can bump u to gig for $14 more but ehhh $100 for internet in my low income area is horrible.

Thats it. And I have to pay extra for a 2nd line bonded to the first line for a 4 wire dsl modem. I'm 1/2 mile away from a fiber hub, but the wire to my house wanders thru 3 subdivisions before it gets to me. I'm the last one on this trunk.
