The Witcher 3 keyboard bindings?

I can't seem to change the keyboard bindings.  It keeps saying something like "mouse and keyboard detect..." but it won't let me change the bindings.  Anyone else having this issue and know how to fix it?  Thx!

    I was able to change a few keys.  By default, I found that movement keys are either WSAD or Arrow Up, Down, Left and Right.  Those options weren't even there  for me.  I did change all the left shift, run, etc to right shift, etc.  Being left handed...moved most to right side of keyboard.

    Dang console port... I still cannot change the bindings.. You're right you cannot change WSAD: http://forums.cdprojektre...that-a-troll?p=1672786
    When I try to change other keys, it tells me something like "You cannot do this now..." ****
    Looks like you have to do it manually or use autohotkey.
    2015 game... cannot change WSAD keys.

    Although it doesn't usually affect me - I do find that extremely hard to fathom that the key bindings are not editable ???

    I like useing ESDF for movement. I can't believe all the delays this game had these devs. couldn't implement full key remapping

    The file you do want to edit is this file: input_qwerty.ini found in C:\Spel\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\config\r4game\legacy\base input_qwerty.ini
    I have played around editing that above file and it does work, will take a tries to get it to work properly.
    Managed to change WASD to use EDSF as movement keys.
    Easiest way is to use notepad++ search for IK_W= will be about 4 places it turns up. E will be used for almost all interactions so needs to be switched for some other key like P.
    Just make a backup of the original file and delete your input.settings located in X:\\Users\xxxxl\Documents\The Witcher 3
