Hi guys! Today my new EVGA x79 FTW (K2 rev) arrived.
So i hope to have more luck than before with the Asus that arrived DOA (still trying to find a solution to get the MB fixed by them )

Well just a little brief of this!

I received my EVGA FTW, just updated BIOS to Ver. 38, Also i updated the Asmedia USB 3.0 Firmware. (Now i can use my Gskill Ripjaws Z at 2133 without any issues) , but still can't use my Logitech G510 at Bios/Dos

I did a little mod to my Swiftech CPU Block,  using the LGA 2011 kit that swiftech sold me, but it seems isn't ok! because im getting high temps on my system, so i think maybe the waterblock isn't having good contact with the cpu and it didn't dissipate the heat like it should do. I tried like 3 times, but i dont want to apply more pressure, maybe i need to do a better job with the block, modding it, so the screws can be more loose to apply pressure.
 
Well after this, the system is running stable, at least, i think im going to buy a H100 for this rig, and leave the WC for my another rig, or maybe sell it to somebody else ( Im not into WC, im too lazy to purge the system every 4 months etc) 
 
I left the system at 4.2 / 4.4, just did some test (OCCT, Prime95 for 15 minutes), right now 4.2 because of the temps problems, until i found a solution.

Later at night i will publish some photos in here, and in the Mod Rigs site!

Looking awesome man! I like your black and red color theme very much [:D}]! it happens that I have the same red sleeving on PCI-e and CPU connector hehe
 
still working on the MB 24-pin, need to get more sleeving and do something about its white color (it's an extension.

yeah, I hear ya. well, for me the H80 was a toal fail (bad fan controller twice, out of the box), so good luck with H100 (they have the same setup as H80, just radiators are different).... also the stock bracket was not fitting the z68 ftw I had before, needed to use 2 washers (from an automotive store) under each of stands on the backside of MB to make it sit right ...
 
I like my custom loop and planning on extending it in future for a GPU (not those 570's I have, a 670 is in plans heheh). custom loop is 10x better always than those Corsair closed loop kits ...
