J The 191.07s have been good for many people but I won't get near then after the problems that Mikotan and I had.
The 190.56s work with the latest Physx drivers.

I lost the dualies and a 759 to the early 191.07s. Voltage tuner was acting strange and then the system degraded until it was unstable even at stock clocks. Got the system back up with RMAed parts and got a E-Mail from EVGA asking to run a file for them. I reinstalled the drivers ran the file and once lost that759 and 2 more dualies.

Drivers can do that?  What did you or evga surmise was happening?  I'm asking because I installed them to run some 9800gtx benches on a hunch, got some pretty good scores, then installed them with my 295's and got horrible, horrible scores...high P43's at the same settings I previously got p46's w/190.56.  I switched back to 190.56's, but same bad results??? I haven't had time to test it and don't think I will after what you said.

I think a fresh win7 install is in order

I traded my SLI 260's for a GTX295 co-op!  I'm very happy with the trade, a little more performance with more room on the case, lower temps :)

thanks for the kind words!!

using furmark I worked my way up to the FTW speeds with no problems.  I thought I had some room to push further.  The only thing I noticed and worried about is the PCB temps, they were getting up to 55 C+.  What would be the limit on pcb temps I should look for?

Also, it's hard to describe but after having 2 SLI set-ups(8800GT & 260's), the 295 just seems smoother.

You still have a lot of room with 55c.  tbo, I wouldn't worry about temps...if you get up past 85c, it'll crash (probably sooner).  So what, reboot and have more fun.  I've had my 295's for exactly 1 year now (Jan 21 I believe), and after really punishing them as only benching cards for a year, they still keep ticking!

Just take the side of you case off and blow a regular ol' room fan on the card, that will keep the temps down.  And always make sure to run the gpu fans at 100% (I'm sure you're already doing that)

I was able to get a little further on my OC and got to the 1512 shader strap.

This was done using 196.34 which I switched to for BF BC2, which really improved performance in the beta.  Since I have done nothing but play the beta since it came out, I finally decided to bench these drivers and see how they would do in vantage.  Given my results, I look forward to their next whql release.

Sweet Iride!

Those co-op's are not so bad after all.

and those new corsair sticks can not hurt either :)

What speed you running the new memory at?

Thanks I never thought co-ops could be pushed this high.
The memory is at 2100 but the case is what has made the difference. With the dual 480s in the pedestal drawing cold air from outside that is what has helped the most.

I was hoping to get EVGA to make a statement.

I'm afraid both companies will leave people in the cold after letting them get hot under the heatsink!
