 Yea I collect WW II rifles and guns, but sadly I don't have any American WW II guns besides my 1911, the rest are Russian, German & Egyptian. All of which shoot either 7.92x57(8mm Mauser) or 7.62x54r, all the other rifles shoot 7.62x39 or .22 Lr and all the shotguns are 12 Guage. Handguns/SMG's are 9mm and .45 cal

This is on my wishlist for 2010  . Of course living in NY I will only be able to get the basic configuration with the fixed stock  . Can't wait till they hit the shelves.

Well, you are doing a good job so far guys.
I noticed a few of you have some items to add. To the poster on rolling back to the good old days. Gun powder is pretty easy to make. Carbon 15% , Salt peeter Potasium nitrate 75% (sp), sulfur 10%, and sometimes wood/paper filler, Bio fuels for power as well as solar wind and alcohol. You can recycle bullets, shell (brass), and lead balls, blasting caps would be the most difficult. But modifying ammo guns to precussion type ammo would not be that hard. (Twenty rounds). Medicine is more complex but again, snag that Gilligan Island Doctor scientist type. (College chemistry teachers) And snaggin that Aircraft carrier after the governments have all depleated themselves would not be that difficult. Getting to Hawaii might be but a small well trained and outfitted team could snag an appropriate type of craft. (Air, boat, other,) Snaggin a large frieghter would not take anything. (Most sea going type can reach Hawaii with fuel to spare).... Cargo might go along way to get past the boarder (Island guardsmen)....
One thing I am not sure about is missing my NCIS TV show??? any ideas.
