I am seeing strange artifacts with my GTX 980ti. I bought my card for more vram and my 690 GTX was not doing very well Skyrim and my ENB setup.

The problem is that 1 half of the (1080) screen is drawing different displays - the best way to explain is say one half (1080 / 540) going in one direction and the other 540 is going in another direction. This does not all the time, but very strange and destroys what I am doing in my game. Strange also is it happens on the Steam forum as well.

No overclocking on my side.
60hz monitor.
Vsync is On.
Driver version; 386.22.

Usually visual artifacts are the result of unstable VRAM.

However, this is a new card after you had the 690. Did you do a safe mode uninstall of video drivers as outlined in: http://forums.evga.com/Basic-troubleshooting-steps-Windows-clean-boot-clean-driver-install-debug-mode-etc-m2451023.aspx It's #2 in the list.

If not, please do so then install your driver of choice and check again.

PS - you probably know, but heavily modded Skyrim is heavily CPU bound as well since it is a single threaded process.

You know i was so exited to start my benchmarks and games, that only after an hour or so later I remembered to uninstall drivers in safe mode. Thanks for reminding me.

Although this glitch is like nothing I have seen before. Hopefully I get my step up to 1080 soon.

Yeah I know the CPU is being taxed with the mods but I have a 3960x so I can't get a whole lot better there except overclocking. But I have always been against overclocking to gain 2-6 extra FPS and have my Vcore run at ridiculous temperatures. My CPU runs 5-10 degrees cooler than my vcore. I guess its a sabertooth x79 thing. However the 980ti was an AMAZING difference compared to my 690 in Skyrim with mods.
