Not even a mention of the HyperX cloud which is widely regarded as one of the best gaming headset. Can't like PC Mag for anything dump my sub a year or so back. BUGGY INFESTED SITE TOO

Agreed. What a shame. And for the price point, they are absolutely the best deal out there.

I have a pair of the Astro A50's that were gifted to me buy the Astro/Skullcandy rep and I have to say. It's the best headset I have used in a long time.

I wouldn't buy anything but the Sennheiser Game Zero. That, and the:

That is how I roll. Audio Technica ATH-AD700X with modmic here. I said goodbye to the gaming headset a long time ago.

I use the Sennheiser hd598 and or the beyerdynamic dt990 pro's. They both have a great souns stage. An objective 2 amp/dac from mayflower. For the mic I use a blue snowball mounted on a boom arm which produces some great recordings and voice sound. Since I got the snowball the modmic now sits in my drawer.

I'll put another vote for the Sennheiser HD598s. The sound stage is great, and they're EXTREMELY comfortable. They also don't require a DAC and amp to run, although that would certainly improve the sound. I've been using a Blue Snowball and good headphones for several years, and find this option so much better than any "gaming headset".

Yeah, I'll stick with my Game Zero, thanks. I've tried Astro A50, the HYperX, Razor, Logitech, and I'll take the Sennheiser any day of the week for the sound and mic. Anyway, personal preference, but for me the Sennheiser is just a much better product all around than what I saw on that list.

These are the best I have ever used http://v-moda.com/wirelessI have the original crossfade. It can be used wireless or wired. There is an available mic, but then it is wired I believe. I don't have the mic, but have read that it is good. I did won't the option at the time though. Expensive but... check it out. I'm super happy with them.
