That Noctua unit has long been considered to be one of the best if not the best. I always got good results from my Cooler Master V8. I went to an AIO and then a custom loop mostly out of concern for so much weight hanging on my motherboard.

i used a noctua dh-14 for a couple of years.
liked it but it was heavy as heck.
when i took my X-58 system apart to build a new one i noticed bent cpu pin,s on the motherboard, all on the bottom of socket.
now im with the corsair 105 hydro.

CORSAIR better to give someone from their sponsored reviews to finish comparison of all Hydro coolers on X99 platform.
I can't believe in accuracy of Z97 and Z170 platform because everything hidden under IHS. Intel will install skin of dead rats one day under IHS.
One nice test on default 4.2 and 4.5GHz.

    I mean on next models
    H75
    H80i V2
    H100i/H110i GT
    H100i/H110i GTX
    H115i

They build so many models and I believe some customers have problems to decide what to do.

My Swiftech H240-X is the best AIO I've seen.

It has been able to handle my 5960X as I bench it with no problems and at silent fan speeds to boot.  (before custom loop)

I chose the CM Hyper D92 over that one. Why didn't you get the D92?

I think Swiftech 240X and CORSAIR H110i GT /H110i GTX are best.
H110i GT look easier for installation and nicer radiator but H110i GTX pump look somehow better but I can't say for sure.
