Battlefield Insider members get early access, and if you sign up by August 21, you can join them as some of the first people in the world to play the Battlefield 1 Open Beta. If you've already signed up, make sure you go to the Battlefield Insider Page and select your platform preference, otherwise you won’t get a code to play early.

Has anyone received open beta code yet? I joined Battlefield insider over a month ago, no code received yet for the upcoming open beta.

*UPDATE*
BF1 open beta early access codes (BF insiders) will be sent out on Aug 30

Looks like Nvidia release a new Game Ready driver yesterday
Nvidia Driver 372.70  WHQL
Release Date: 2016.8.30
Game Ready
Provides the optimal experience for World of Warcraft: Legion, Battlefield 1: Open Beta, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and Quantum Break on STEAM.

If you go in Origin and under "Free Games" click "Demos and Betas" there is a headline there for it.  It will likely be listed there to openly play once it goes live I imagine.

Received my code @ 2:30AM this morning woke up at 5:30 opened Origin activated key downloaded game 7.1GB took approx 12 min to download and install. Got to play one round and was late to work because of it good thing I'm the boss. 1st impressions install went seamlessly and didn't even have to restart. NO BATTLELOG WOOOHOOO!  I didn't notice any glitches at all. Game looked stunning hit detection seems to be right on. Game defaults to DX11 and Ultra setting I was getting 90+ FPS avg @ 2560x1440 w/ 2-980ti in SLI both GPUs were 90 to 100% utilized through out game play memory usage was also evenly split between both GPUz. Although I have quit a bit to explore and discover controls all seem to be the same as previous versions. The whole feel is that the game is quit polished from the get go. Can't wait to get back home and get back to it.

Been playing runs great, but does not look as impressive as the trailers make it look. The other thing is it does not feel like battlefield. Feels more like a fast paced COD... Or really battlefront. SMH

I'm getting like half the framerate I get in BF4.

Gonna try these new drivers.

2nd kill in the game as infantry being killed by aircraft. Battlefield never changes......

BF1 actually feels the most like a battlefield game in a long time. This feels more like BF1942/Vietnam which are still my favorite battlefields. In what ways do you see this like CoD?

Huh, I haven't been killed as infantry by planes yet; and I've played mostly infantry with a little bit in tanks.

It does have the feel of Starwars battlefront to it.  The map and how your zoomed way out when you choose where to spawn.

Yep , played for hours and this is basically Star Wars w/  an old timey skins thrown onto it.... It has the EXACT same netcode problems as BF4 , even the same ping issue icons / latency issues & packet loss warnings flash up on the side like was put into BF4.

make NO mistake this IS BF4 , reskinned . I even had the old, wonderful got killed around corners multiple times.  Sure it has a new look to it because of the era setting with new, fresh maps...little minor changes here and there but the same engine with the same problems underneath....

once the 'newness' wears off - people will realize this. A real shame too, Dice had a chance to fix all the community issues this time and chose the path of easy/ reskin for the cash grab.

Just an update to my previous post SLI was broke when I played last night not sure if it was updating to BF1 driver or switching from default DX11 to 12 but I have tried everything except a clean install of the previous driver and nothing fixed it. I also had issue with being shot from around the corner and I feel like it may well be the same net code issues from BF4 but it is Beta and things could get better quickly. It maybe a re-skin of BF$ but there are lots of new toys to play with that are a lot of fun not the lest which are, of all things, the horses. F-ing amazing about the same thrill as jet ski for the first time BF# but when you add in gun and sword play it is totally cool and tons of fun and you are surprisingly hard to hit when riding one and definitely don't try and shoot the horse aim for rider. Well done and well implemented . I've seen the train twice now and I could be wrong but, it seems like, when a team is loosing badly they get the train to kinda even the odds which is a neat twist but they still lost . Rush mode also has some new neat twist and then there will be Horse Superiority Mode to come. In any case IMHO there's way more positive than negative and if I'm just paying for maps and twist I'm fine with that too.

Poodlecorp DDOS takes EA, Blizzard servers down

By Alan Ng - Aug 31, 2016

We are hearing about some unfortunate news now, in relations to a possible reason why Battlefield 1 and also WoW Legion servers have been down recently with unexpected maintenance.
Another hacking group has entered the scene, by the name of Poodlecorp who are following on in the footsteps of Lizardsquad in trying to gain attention via social media by launching DDOS attacks against popular games.
Blizzard recently celebrated the launch of Legion for World of Warcraft, while EA has just opened up beta testing for Battlefield 1. According to a recent Tweet from Poodlecorp though, they don’t want you to have fun.

What a bunch of loser hackers....

For anyone wondering... you can use Nvidia Inspector to set these settings for the BF1 profile to enable SLI:

Under 1 - Compatibility
SLI Compatibility Bits (DX10 + DX11): 0x080116F5
SLI Compatibility Bits (DX12): 0x200007B1 (I couldnt run DX12 successfully though, it errored out)

Under 6 - SLI
Number of GPUs to use on SLI rendering mode: Set to number of GPUs you have
NVIDIA Predefined number of GPUs to use on SLI rendering mode: same number as one above

Hit Apply Changes in the top right. Enjoy.

Did it for my SLI GTX 780 for 1440p and sitting around 70-80fps on ULTRA settings. There's some dips but they arent nearly as noticeable as they are on 1 GPU.

I'm surprised how poorly the game performs, even for a beta since this engine has been used in so many titles and usually runs fine.  Something fishy is going on honestly.  There's no reason for this game to be as demanding as it is.  Also, Nvidia's latest driver eliminates SLI support, so I had to reinstall the previous driver.  The FPS dips are atrocious.  Two 980 Ti's near 1500MHz and I'm getting dips in the 50s in some areas at max settings and 3440x1440.

Check my post right above yours... i did this on Nvidia's newest driver and im getting great results.

My feelings toward this game are mixed. There are some cool things, but there are also some bad things. Movement feels floaty like Battlefront and the map/game mode feels irrelevant to just running in circles.

Not my fault if you're offended.

I think DICE took every asset they could from Starwars Battlefront game. The flame thrower is fun to use, i was surprised how much range it has.

Thanks for the help.  That keeps my FPS at a constant 100FPS now.  It's amazing how Nvidia can't implement this in their own drivers...
