mmillion But 6903-04 back to beta?? Who would have thought. Sorry, Grandpa, musky, tear and others for my ASSumption. Well the logic still holds true our points are down, not because of a script but because of beta testers (them) and non a beta testers (us). I can't report problems in the Beta forum, so won't be switching to -bigbeta, hope they get released back to the general public. I'm gonna run the 6901s, 03s and 04's 'til the cows come home and use -bigbeta. I'm not seeing issues with any of those WUs, don't need to have the opportunity to report any "beta" information and will continue to lay down the largest WUs/points that I can for the Team. I'd suggest that you enable that switch and get into the water with the rest of the Folding teams that can complete those WUs on time.

I love it when a team pulls together ;) Were on the rise [H] just dipped (most likely due to the end of month deal ending) we've lowered the overtake to 2 months now a slight push on and that should drop even more Come on team we can do this

Suck it up. I never had A/C when I lived in Washington state. Thou you are right, it never got hot either. So be in my shoes now and join the 100*F weather here in Oklahoma. My Crystal rig won't be much help now, lost a HDD today. Gave out without any warning, no time to backup data. Luckily its just a program & games HDD and not my massive storage or OS data drives. But my FAH & Crunching programs were on that drive.

Well give or take I'm pretty sure my upstairs was baking over 100 degrees considering downstairs thermostat was at 90. Plus your rig doesn't produce as much heat as mine and plus my 2nd rig making some more unnecessary heat lols. But also, are you saying you don't have a AC unit there in Oklahoma? Besides, my top card spikes over 200 degrees folding sometimes and I usually turn it off when it gets to that point, with my bottom card following close behind at 180 degrees Never had the need to shut off before, but with no proper source of cooling, next investment I guess will be watercooling to battle summer here in Washington. I refuse to do SMP's because of this heat too. hmm hmm yea yea.. sigh* sweat it out all day long, just the wrong timing to be falling short as a team during this heat wave.

Just messing with ya. Yes we have an A/C unit in OK, but not in WA. Didn't need it since temps may only get up to 80*F on a few days, mostly 70*F and lower. I use to live in Oak Harbor. Crystal is back on FAH. Installed what it needed last night on a WD 160GB Blue 2.5" HDD. Kind of a downgrade from the Seagate 500GB 3.5" that I had before.

I am getting around 170k PPD, and once I have time to get this SR2 built and online should be able to bump it up a bit more. Also getting the parts together for a 4P setup but time is on short supply at the moment.

Been over a year and a half since my last WU... Hearing things about -bigbeta? Any hope of completion with a 970 at 4.2ghz/12 threads? I'm using the 1.5.0.7 VirtualBox image. Whoever is responsible for that really did a nice job, web config and all. Easing in on a -oneunit SMP2 P6098 unit for the evening. Gonna need a better water block...

Anyone looking for some older rigs/hardware to fold with? I have a Asus WS dual socket with a pair of Edit: FX-74 I could let go of cheap + shipping. You'll need a PSU, video card & some ddr2 to get it folding. Edit: I may even have some DRR2 memory, I'll have to look. I have a bunch of other stuff as well, a lot of complete rigs, bench setups. With money short I can't afford the power bill any longer is the only reason there not folding. I could easily do 6 mil a month if I fire everything up.

-bigadv, -bigbeta is now 16 threads or more only and Linux only.

I'm guessing since the hard-restriction was finally put into effect on a 16-thread minimum, that -Bigbeta has no more use? I know that nobody other than Beta members were supposed to use -Bigbeta anyway, and now I'm thinking using it has no effect vs using -Bigadv. Is that correct or are you guys still seeing some reason to continue to use the -Bigbeta argument?

Here's a question I have a p8101 working but looks like its not going to make the bonus dead line. Two hours after I left the shed "man cave lol" 3 of my rigs reset and has been setting on the login screen for quite some time. 8 to 10 hrs idle Not sure why the reset, no BSOD message plus 1 rig was still folding away, different breaker or surge protection over load I guess was the cause. Should I dump it & start a new one or just let it finish? Edit: still about 23hrs left to complete About 21hrs in when the reset happened + 8 to 10 hrs idle + 23 hours to complete, that's over the deadline correct?

yeah, right now there appears to be zero difference between the two flags.. I tried it myself for a bit. I also have read on other teams forums that there's no difference.

If you can still make the final deadline, let it finish. You'll still get the base points and the data is still valid. Just don't let your completion percentage for all your SMP wu's drop below 80%. keep an eye on your power draw, might be an issue there.
