Well, the good news is, I finished it in time.  The bad news is I couldn't get it to power up.   Some kind of short in the wiring prevented anything from running more than a second, and me with no time to troubleshoot.

Regardless, here are the final pics (power to lights and fans provided by spare psu).  Enjoy, and I'm off to sleep for a couple days. ;)

Wow so very cool.  I have looked at all the past winners of this contest and this by far will be the best winner yet.

I would check the mobo stand-offs first for the short.  Just an idea.  Ir a spare molex touching something in the back.

System Specs: Commodore 64 Oregon Trail CLASSIFIED Edition/ c-64 Mobo / 5.25'' Floppy x 2 /  External Black Edition Punch Card reader Tape Drive Combo / STEALTH phone modem with custom translucent receiver cord / VIC II Graphics

Excellent craftmanship
Gloss Black looks neat and shiny

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags!
The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. When you abuse it, it reverses on you and it hurts you.The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.
