So I've seen multiple videos now of people using the EVGA GTX 1070/1080 Hybrid kit and doing some light modification to get it to fit Pascal Titan X.

Now that the Hybrid kit is out for the FTW cards, wouldn't it be easier to use that kit on the Titan? It has the additional cutout for the 6pin that the reference Hybrid did not, so that eliminates cutting into the kit at that spot. Has anyone seen a Titan conversion using the new FTW Hybrid kit anywhere?

The FTW shroud is a completely larger size. I doubt you could even get the shroud on at all. Maybe you could ghetto it with trying to match up a few screw holes but you'd be better off just with the 1080 kit in my opinion. Remember you don't even really need the shroud just the pump only. You're losing a bit of direct airflow over the base plate but it doesn't get warm enough anyway to cause any worry.
