Hello all,
Probably beating a dead horse, but I'm having difficulties narrowing down an answer. I have a SuperNOVA 650 G1 power supply, and I can find . Following an EVGA forum post I've found titled "EVGA NEX650G (G1) Pinout" (I can't post links yet), and following the links within that post, and doing some working backwards with a stock cable, I've come up with the following diagram:

Quick rundown, these are facing as if you were looking to plug the cables into them (not looking from the front of the cables themselves).
My understanding is that there are only 3 - 12v pins that the pci-e standard uses, and I have them marked out as yellow.
Is there a reason why the stock cables have pins 4-8 all jumbled up if they're supposed to be all ground wires anyway?
Can I re-arrange the ground cables to the proposed layout on the bottom, and not run into issues?
Cable sleeving would look much better at both ends as far as the color scheme goes when they're wrapped
(power supply and stuff is visible, but I can hide the middle of the cables in the case for any wire crossover).
Many thanks in advanced!
*edit* grammar, removing references to links I can't post yet
