so not only does my gpu have stuttering ssues my monitor artifacts with motion now.
You really have no idea what you are doing.... none whatsoever.
Your hardware is fine, what we have here is a case of complete lack of knowledge and total user error.
From hot swapping video connections, to failing to use the correct cable that supports a 144hz signal and running everything and the kitchen sink in the background incorrectly...
The monitor and your videocard are fine. It's the user that needs a RMA
ONLY a DVI-D (dual link) or Display port connections CORRECTLY support 144hz..
DVI-I, DVI-D (single link) and HDMI will NOT correctly support 144hz
*the TV is running at 60hz or below... this difference in monitors appears to be confusing you completely
Disconnect the TV completely from the system for troubleshooting and use -ONLY- the Asus
Use the CORRECT CABLE to your ASUS monitor
ONLY connect or swap cables from your videocard and monitor when the POWER IS OFF
Make SURE that your NVCP is correctly set to your monitors NATIVE screen resolution and 144hz refreshrate
Do NOT run with Skype ON and with Precision opened on the desktop (and god knows whatever else you might have running)
Run your game or test benchmarks in full screen at your monitors native screen resolution
