That's just the normal conformal coating on the PCB. It's almost never entirely even.
This is normal? Sweet, I haven't seen it before but then again all my other gpus usually have had a backplate of some sort. Glad I don't have to RMA it, thanks for the info!
I even zoomed in on a 4K 50" screen. You get that sometimes around the larger solder points.
...Back plates sometimes get an oily residue from the thermal tape. Looks funky but it's harmless too.
