Strange GPU Clock 1070FTW

Hi everyone, is it normal for my 1070FTW, that GPU clock goes up, over boost clock of 1797, even up to 2012MHz?
I didn't touch anything, just installed Precision XOC and activated OSD.
Any tips?
I'm quite worried that this too-high clock can ruin my GPU.

    Oh ok, nevermind :) thx for help ;)
    Anyway, why does the clock go so high? Standard clocks are 1607/1797MHz, it's quite strange

    The reason it goes so high is because gpu boost 3.0 is dynamically controlling the clocks.

    Ah ok, i didn't know that boost 3.0 can overclock the GPU over the standard clocks :)

    the speced clocks like from here are the guaranteed min  you can expect  if your card does better then great   its nothing but a plus  
     
    ftw  gaming
    • 1607MHz Base Clock
    • 1797MHz Boost Clock 
        =  the min evga guarantees this card will do   anything you get stock out of the box over that  is nothing but gravy  [best I understand that ]
