Even if you have to raise the price slightly. I am sure people will be more then willing to pay it. Many of the other vendors are putting them on and its very common now. It makes the card look that much nicer and the build quality also feels even more solid. Along with lowering temps and protecting the bottom pcb. Its a very common complaint among users and the EVGA brand.

Some people want a true vanilla Nvidia card and randomly get 2 or 3 cards to SLI regardless of manufacturer. Some people actually don't want aftermarket parts on their cards in order to better match up everything purchased.

so? People can take them off at no charge while currently people can't add them at no charge your excuse doesn't make any sense.

Then you need more screws for people that want to remove them, I really dont see why companies cant put extra "screws" with all their products. I mean really, other than EK you never see anybody put in an extra radiator screw, or a backplate screw or a fan screw. They only put in (or LESS) the exact amount you need, come on people, give us more screws!

I was shocked when i purchased a 980 FTW and it didnt have a backplate. I was under the impression all FTW/Classified cards were guaranteed backplates. I can understand the stock cards or even the sc not having the plate but SSC+ and above should.
