The problem started a few days ago, I have no ideas as to why.

In Add/remove programs Nvidia is no longer listed?

Yes, Its no longer listed,  The funny thing is I think it could be the windows update, I just looked at the history and there was an update yesterday. what is the program called to clean up your drivers.

Most people use driver sweeper, just make sure you only clean out the Nvidia display drivers and not a chipset or other driver.

Please if anybody has a solution to the problem, please post your ideas. I cant edit the original because of the forum bug tonight.

I am still having problems. I disabled windows update and unchecked the individual updates, but I still completely looses the driver, but I checked and its still shown in "uninstall programs list" and I am getting very frustrated. When you reinstall the driver the driver works, but there i no longer a "sli" option in the nvidea control panel. Only way is to do a system restore. When it works it does work. I did some internet searching that turned up some stuff but nothing that worked for me.

Sounds like the old lan driver conflict with SLI. Go here and download and install these drivers for your board:

Then reinstall your Nvidia drivers. And from now on don't let Windows auto update the network drivers.

The same exact thing was happening to me for over a month. I had to restart 5 or more times for the graphic drivers to load.
There was a thread about it some time ago. I never found a working solution, but try this:  Re-seat your cards, re-install drivers in safe mode. I'm not encountering this issue anymore. I believe some Windows Update fixed that.
