Just a timeline update here:
Stepped up to GTX 1070 from 970 an hour or so when it was available for step-up.
Was #5x in queue
Received step 2 and step 3 on the 28th around 11am
Paid and received step 5 to mail in the card around 7pm
Shipped out the card 07/05. Delievered on 07/06, but was not flagged and received by EVGA until 07/07
GTX 1070 scheduled to be delivered today.

Thanks for the updates Mike. Been following your progress as I'm in the same queue. Unfortunately, I stepped up on June 12th and was #270ish in line. Still stuck at the first step. I wonder if there are any other 1070ACX upgraders active in here that can shed some light on if they too have moved on to later steps in the process. My curiosity is getting the best of me after waiting so long.

I'm a 1070 ACX step-upper, queue number in the sixties before it got removed... Still at step 1. Hope to move on soon, given that Mike was in the fifties and got processed already. Maybe when the next shipment of this model arrives. Will post here.

Yeah, I was #58 in the queue for the 1070 ACX 3.0 before that disappeared. Stepping up from 970 SCC GAMING ACX 2.0. Registered product on 6/1. Submitted Step Up request when 1070 ACX 3.0 became available. Received Step 1 email on 6/10 11:00 AM. Crickets ever since.

Finally got my card after missing the delivery yesterday and it looks like EVGA hooked me up with the SC edition. Based on Reddit's 'teamevga' subreddit, it looks like I'm not alone. Thank you, EVGA! Best of luck everyone!

Oh. It was only available if you looked on the German website. When did you initiate the step up? The first day? I initiated mine ~10AM on the first day and I was number 149.

#149? 1070 or 1080, If 1070 then there is something wrong with my step up.

Void was in the 60s. A guy in the 50s reached step 2 back on June 28th or so. Looks like they are doing 10 every 2 weeks as of now.

Happy to report that like void_ptr, I received my step 2 for the 1070 acx 3.0 a few hours ago. Probably should have thought about how to phrase "crickets ever since" a bit better in my previous post. . .ah well. . .but here's hoping that the gridlock starts to loosen up for everyone still waiting.

Ugh, I knew I should have went with the 6700k instead of the 5930k. I've been without my desktop for a week now because I don't even have integrated graphics.
Just a suggestion for the future, maybe buy one of those cheap $30-50 discrete graphic cards for back up situations like this, would be better than literally nothing. Never know if you will need to rma your only card or something.
