Dont know if this is graphic related but since this only happens when i play high graphic intense games i posted here. pc specs are gtx 770 4gb, i7 2700k, 16gb memory, asus sabortooth mb and 1050w ps the static noise is not coming from my gpu but from my speakers but ive tried 2 different brand new speakers and still get the same results. anything i could do fix this?

Hello and welcome to the forum. Personally, I just tell her to leave the room while I'm playing. You're probably getting electrical interference, from either your PSU or the GPU. Make sure any audio cables in your case are routed as far away from the GPU and PSU as possible.

Hello, blackmamba77 Also are you using onboard sound or an independent sound card ? Most of the time it is electrical interference which can be caused by a bad 3.5 millimeter port. Also having a head set plugged in at the same time can cause electronical feed back through your speakers.

does your monitor have an intergarted power adapter or is it on the cord like the laptop ones?

Make sure the speaker cables aren't close to other cables. Do you have other speaker cables to try? If you use a headset instead of the speakers can you hear the noise also through those?

I had this problem once years ago. Moving the soundcard to a different slot fixed it for me, I think it was interference on the pci-e bus. Have you tried uninstalling & reinstalling the onboard sound drivers/package? Also, make sure it's not inadvertently sharing an IRQ with your graphics card(s)

I don't think so. is your motherboard asus sabertooth z77? is the cord with the monitor power adapter near your speaker or speaker cables?

I would replace the sound cable and check for new drivers if using the onboard sound or card in pci slot

i think i solved it, while i was playing archeage i opened up precision x and it was set on default 100 percent power target at a 79 temp target 135mhz voltage 850mn, with these settings on i would get static noise coming out of my speaker. The gpu would also hit high temps aswell 80 celsius ( is this normal??). I lowered the power target to 74% @ a temp target of 70c and that static went away for a bit then after 30 mins of gameplay it would come back not as loud, so then i turned the fan speed to 100 percent and the static went away. new question is this normal?
