ORRRR if anybody there at EVGA has a spare/defective ACX front led logo :) (the one that says EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1080 on it)

I think the guys who bought the hybrid kit will be keeping their spare parts. So they can put it back on if required to RMA.

Rather than trying to trick someone into voiding their video card's warranty by giving you their trim pieces, why don't you just use yours?  You can paint your trim with black plastidip spray in a can.  Then, when it comes time to RMA your card, just peel the black plastidip off to restore your card to stock condition.

Not tricking anybody? It's going to be wrinkle black like the old titans. Plasti-dip is flat black.

If you don't want to use your trim and void your warranty, why do you think anyone else would want to give you their trim and void their warranties?  I assume that you are hoping that someone will make a stupid decision and decide to help you.

$50 is worth keeping the cooler in your basement so that you don't void your warranty.  I don't think you will find a cheap used cooler considering that people like their warranties.  It really makes no sense for you to complain about what other people want to charge in order to void their warranties.

I agree with this guy to a point. First, 50 bucks for the cooler is cheap. Yes all you need is some of the trim but good luck with that. 50 for the whole cooler is a good deal. While I wouldn't void my warranty to do so It is up to these guys to do what they want with their stuff. Ty I agree it's a little risky to void the warranty but you seem to be having a coronary over this. You made your point I feel you don't need to harp on the poor guy for it. Just outa curiosity I noticed that the listing was removed. Did you get to this guy selling the cooler and convince him to remove it?

No, I didn't.  I have no personal interest in how this plays out.

The reason I keep repeating myself is because this user clearly does not understand the value of a warranty on a $700 video card.  He keeps acting like "what?! how come people don't want to sell their heatsink for cheap if they aren't even using it anyway!?".  It's not that the heatsink itself has any value to the owner if the heatsink isn't being used by the owner, but that the value of the warranty the heatsink provides is worth a lot.

Why doesn't this user just give their heatsink away for cheap and then go get a replacement from someone else?  You know, if you want good karma, you first need to pass it along to someone else.  Oh, you don't want to give it away for cheap?  Why?  Because it is hard to find replacements and you want to own a heatsink whenever you need it?
