Hello,

Recently i have made a 980 TI SLI (2way) and i'm worried because it's looking like i got no improvement in my games, looks like i'm still using one card only...

I have setup the card on the Nvidia Panel for Max performance, set Physx to auto (nothing more).

Overwatch for exemple i was getting like 145fps, and it still the same with both of them...
Battlefield 4 i'm getting 120fps (same as before as well)

Also Fire Strike (3dmark) looks lower than other people with same processor/vgas.
But at least at 3dmark the SLI is working (i took one vga off to test, and it lowered the points by 70%, tested without sound card as well; nothing)
Fire Strike Extreme: 11599

My setup:
2560x1440@165hz
Processor: Intel Core I7 3930K 6 cores @4.0ghz 12mb cache
Motherboard: Gigabyte X79 GA-X79-UD3 Intel LGA2011
Memory: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (8GBx2) 2400mhz
1st Video Card: Nvidia GTX 980TI EVGA SC ACX2.0+
2nd Video Card: Nvidia GTX 980TI EVGA SC ACX2.0+
Bridge: Gigabyte 3way from mobo
Drive: OS SSD 256GB Samsung 840 Pro +
PSU: EVGA Supernova 850w G2
Sound Card: Asus Strix Soar 7.1

I'm missing something? i don't know to do or test anymore...
Thank you guys!

Overwatch doesn't support sli. Battlefield 4 does support sli. Looks like both games are being capped below your monitors refresh rate for some reason.

SLI is not all about FPS, it is about smooth looking graphics, no rouge edges that is. FAQ

SLI is all about FPS. Anti-aliasing is all about smooth looking graphics.

    Thank you for both answers,

I read what bcavnaugh posted, it made me think about, maybe it's my imagination, but after the SLI i didn't got a notable improvement of FPS, but i maxed the games and didn't lose fps either. (GTA5 for example), i can tell it because you really see the fps differences on 100hz or more...

But what Sajin said, i had a GTX 570 SLI some years ago and it drastically improved my fps... Probably not going to make difference but i will buy a HB Bridge to test if my bridge is ok anyway (testing possibilities one by one).

    Correct my post

Some good reading about SLI http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/introduction-to-sli-technology-guide#2
Alternate Frame Rendering (AFR) for supercharged performance or SLI Antialiasing (SLI AA) for exceptional image quality.
Alternate Frame Rendering is the performance rendering mode for SLI, and it works by designating a particular frame subset to each GPU. In a 2-way SLI configuration, for example, GPU 1 would render all odd-numbered frames while GPU 2 renders all of the even-numbered frames.
SLI Antialiasing is an image quality-focused rendering mode that divides an anti-aliasing (AA) workload between the GPUs for smoother edges at a reduced performance cost.

Knowing how well SLI is scaling doesn't have to be all about knowing exactly how many frames per second you had with just one GPU. The NVIDIA Control Panel includes a tool specifically to measure SLI scaling: the visual indicators. With SLI enabled, just click any link in the "3D Settings" tree and at the top will be a menu also called "3D Settings." There will be a "Show SLI Visual Indicators" option, and click it to enable it. If there is a check beside it, it is enabled. If there is not one, it is disabled. Two white vertical bars will be on the left-hand side of the screen with a green box in the middle. The box will grow in size as SLI scaling increases, so a tall box means excellent GPU scaling while a shorter box indicates more limited performance gains.
