It is common that "outsiders" or other members will use the codes, since they are free, and won't post. It is obviously rather rude of them.
If you would like to use an affiliate code to register a product, feel free use this one: >Click Here< This is not my affiliate code! This is a random users code. I would request that people posting codes simply post what they have available and NOT post codes. People that are not members of the forums can see these codes and will take them for free without caring that the OP has requested notice of what is taken.
If the users post, "I have rainbow six 2, post what you wild like and pm me, and I will send you the code" them that would stop the people that only want handouts. This is a quick easy fix, but I understand why users don't want to reply to 10-15 messages to give out the codes.

It's being posted on an open internet forum for everyone to see. It's not their fault they used the codes. The OP, who has the right to do the contest the way he/she wants, within the TOS of course, has done it this way, and I can't validate your complaints.
