I'm not worried about overclocking, every time I search for some sort of recommended settings for my gpu using precision x I am confronted with overclocking links.

I get 60 frames, and that's awesome, high settings, games look awesome. I just want to know what I should be doing with precision x, should I try MSI afterburner?
Also, do I need to keep the fan curve window open for it to apply? Should I use that? Keep it on Auto Fan. I just want the fans to run efficiently without burning it out or anything like that. Any recommendations or advice you guys have will be greatly appreciated, this is my first custom build and am excited to learn.

Also if there is any more information needed please let me know.

All you need to do is setup a custom fan profile to make the card cool better than the stock fan profile. Yes, you will need to leave precision open for the fan profile to work.

If you select Apply at Windows option you will not need Precision to be open for the fan profile to work.

Pardon the "morning A.D.D." here.... So, the fan profile will still function correctly while Precision is not running in windows?

No. Jacob means that you can allow Precision X to start-up automatically when Windows boots if you choose the option he mentions. That way you don't have to manually set it every time.

I was having an issue because I would set up fan curve but it would always reset. I forget what I changed but now the fan curve stays on the profile so it's working well. thanks for the quick replies, guys.
