I really want one of the FTW ones extremely bad

Same here i feel your pain. I recently built me a sweet new PC and all I need now is the FTW. I have a bunch of homework too since its finals week and I cant concentrate because i'm just refreshing all day. I noticed one person mentioned Jacobs twitter. Thats probably the best way to know when its in stock. Ive been keeping an eye on Neweggs and Jacobs twitter. When ever there is new stock they will let you know quicker than the auto notification. I have never got a notification because they sell out so quick.

Just got a forum post from Jacob saying that they are expecting a big shipment this week and that we may see cards show up as early as today.

 
Thanks for the heads up, I appreciate it. I just really hope I can get one by the time break comes around. I watched a EVGA FE disappear in 5 minutes on Amazon today lol. So I wonder what my chances are on getting a FTW.

Ya, US stock is still sketchy at best unless you are simply after an FE version, those have become much easier to get now, especially if you aren't picky about the brand. But any of the EVGA cards in particular are still unicorns (ie non-existent). Jacob did just give us a heads up on the SC's coming to the evga.com website however, but they were gone in approximately 6 minutes. Luckily I managed to get mine ordered thanks to Jacob's advanced warning, but by the time I got my email notification that they were in stock it was all over and done with and it would have been far too late if I had waited for that notification to come in.

I recieved the auto-notification at 17:13 EST. It sold out within 5 minutes.
When I finished putting in my CC # and hit checkout, it said it soldout. I have a $1 temporary authorisation on my CC, a testament to how close I came.
I don't sit here all day checking my emails or refreshing websites. I just happened to be in my email because I'm waiting on something work related.

If the only people who can get these cards within the first month are neckbeards with a bed pan by their side, refreshing every 60 seconds, 18 hours a day, then I'm just going to get a 980 and do the 90 day step up program. I don't have time for this ****.

Oh and I'm tired of hearing people excuse this as normal. It's not normal. I've never experienced this much issue getting a newly released GPU, and I've been ordering cards since 2006.
I don't blame EVGA at all, my disappointment is with Nvidia. This is an exceptionally poor release, and I wouldn't be surprised if Nvidia was intentionally doing this to increase the value of their cards.
The fact that they delayed any release of anything but the Founders Edition, as well as the 1070, really confirms their intentions.

The SCs were also in stock earlier at Newegg for a few minutes. It's Monday - keep trying!

so was it just the sc editions? not the ftw editions that just sold out again? I literally left my desk for a second for a meeting and missed it. lol

Looks like there were some SC and FE cards that went up. There are still a few Asus and Zotac FE's up now. But it was the SC's that sold out. As far as I know there have been no FTW's posted yet, so you may see those later if you're lucky.

They're just going to be out of stock in 5 minutes. I am stuck in surgery rooms all day and don't even get the luxury of checking my email until I'm no longer scrubbed up. :( 
 
I wish they would just allow pre-orders. I don't mind waiting if I know at some point it'll ship.

I can wait for the FTW, I just wish I knew if the FTW was coming today or not so I can stop refreshing and go shower lol.

Normal working folks that work and actually have lives. You don't stand a chance against these people. You should go and read the comments at nowinstock.net Its rather pathetic. These people have way to much time and money on their hands. You can also blame the vendors for not making a 1 count limit. AHEM EVGA store! Nothing but hogs out there and looking to resale them for higher price. They don't even want them. BUT BUT I WANT AND NEED SLI. Tough. Having such a shortage. All retailers should still make it a 1 per customer only until stock gets better. Which would give others a chance to actually buy one.
