measure twice, cut once!

I would do it, i have a 6700/1070 both under water and sit at 25 idle, 45 on cpu max, video card i dont think ever touches 40. Keep the lines short to increase headflow and you should be good to go

Its difficult to recommend a full custom hardline loop these days with how good air coolers and all in ones are getting.

I have not seen specs or temps lately. Since the leak I am worried about all AIO's

basically if i build out a loop and it leaks *i know its my own fault*

I expect AIO's to go thru tons of q/c and if it leaks we have an issue.

I spoke to CEO on phone at swiftech and he wanted me to send in the unit and was iffy about covering my gtx1080 damage and 1000watt psu damage. It fried the power cord...like umm what if a fire started?

Even a Custom Water Loop after time can start to leak.

Non-stop maintenance? I touch my loop only when I am changing hardware or giving my radiators a deep clean. So once a year, if that. More like two years I find my self draining the loop. Would hardly call that non-stop.
I will admit, it's not for everybody, that is why the AIO was invented.

I always looked at AIO as a stepping stone.  Better than air coolers and cheaper than a custom loop and without the design research needed.

AIO also offers the owner the ability to change hardware without draining the loop

Regular Inspections for leaks is a must for any liquid cooled PC, in my book and not just after building it
