So, TRS is trying to revive Evolve with a Free Weekend...Hmmm???

TRS announces free to play weekend for evolve....  the player base on pc is horrible 300-500 at a time worldwide; their new matchmaking has failed since it's designed for large numbers of players at any given time; wait times to play have been up to 4 hours!!!; the game still has day one bugs and crashes; etc
 
so, my question is:  Is Evolve the Bret Favre of video games?  we all remember his constant trying to revive his finished career only to become a joke....  Shouldn't TRS have tried to fix the bugs and wait times before going to a Free to Play Weekend?  I would think so.
 
so, who's gonna download the 50 gig game and all of its $300 worth of DLC???  anyone?

    I forgot about this game... Sounds like a waste of hard drive or SSD space...

    I will try it for free. I was all in on this games hype until I found out that it had a matchmaking system like CoD and Titanfall and all the other fails that don't translate to PC community. That killed it for me instantly.

    I got the game for free at launch.  It was actually fun, but there were problems with it.  I haven't played it in a long time and actually forgot all about the game lol.

    Evolve ship has sailed, with the playerbase being so low, i wouldn't spend $5 on the game.

    This is even worse then EA's the Sims ever got and its stuffed with DLC ad nauseum
     
    I have long used BD and I would be happy to get games on blueray to cut down on the download bandwidth which get expensive fast
