My wife has been addicted to the game, playing it nearly nonstop all day today and last night...She was playing it around 4 when I left for work and was still playing it when I got home at 11, and is currently playing it now...lol She is loving it. I wish I could use my computer. (She's using it.) :(

It looks pretty awesome that's for sure.
I just read an article that describe all the PhysX used in the game. It looks like it uses it a lot.
    http://www.geforce.com/#/...-alice-madness-returns

Then again I seem to be one of the few people that liked the last Alice movie with Johnny Depp and thought it was awesome. This game looks just as warped so I'm really looking forward to picking it up and playing it when I get a chance.

I know the original one back in 2000 was supposed to be pretty good too. Everyone I knew back then that had it and played it loved.

Yeah I didn't catch the first game, and when I saw this one on Steam I was like uh,.... Alice? After checkin the screenies I snatched it up and am very glad I did. Other than fighting to keep both my GPU's spooled up and not downclocking it plays amazing even with one of my GPU's half asleep.

I threw the game onto my Steam wishlist. May have to pick this one up alongside Fear 3. However next month I might be snagging up new computer parts instead.

Wow, this is twisted.  I usually don't like 3rd person games, but the scenery is so damn interesting I'm glad I got it.  It's different thats for sure.  Anyone have it?  Anyone using surround?  I can't get it to work.  I only have like an inch on the sides of the two flanking monitors.

Just picked this game up today and got it working in Surround.

Game runs great in Surround and is butter smooth after you remove the retarded 30 frames per second cap. To remove the frame rate cap just go to C/users/"username"/My Documents/My Games/Alice Madness Returns/AliceGame/Config/ and open the AliceEngine.ini file and search for "MaxSmoothedFramRate" (just press ctrl+f to bring up a search window) and change it from 30 to whatever number you want.

Then go here and get the Flawless Widscreen tool:
    http://www.flawlesswidescreen.org/

Then just select the Alice Madness Returns profile and enable the fix and set your desired Surround resolution. Also be sure to run the Flawless Widescreen tool as administrator (right click and select "run as administrator") and keep it open when you launch the game.

    Thanks AB

This game is pretty cool so far. It has some wildly imaginative scenery.

The game also has this surreal vibe going with some sadistic undertones. It's all flowers and butterflies when you kill something, but then you'll be treated to a scene of a statue's eyes that start bleeding and the tears turn into monsters, or you'll be talking to a nice old lady and before your eyes she will mutate into some demented ghoul and try to kill you. And Alice herself is pretty violent as she walks around packing a butchers knife and has no problems with dismembering and beheading baddies with it. If any of you are on the fence about this game, give it a try. It's actually not really a kiddie or girly game at all.....

I so want this game badly and if I go back to running a EVGA card I'll use my GTX 260 216 as the physx just for this game. Might as well put my sad unused card to some use.

Getting farther into Alice, it is really good. Exactly like a better version of the original, which is exactly what I wanted!

Can we get a Alice/570 or 580 bundle!?

    Please!
