Hey guys, I am very new to this forum, so go easy on me please xD
That being said, I do have a question to ask and my research so far has, well... bought me here I guess! I am looking to change out the fans on my Evga Superclocked 780 (pretty sure the fan size is exactly the same on all the 700 series cards but just thought id be specific) The fans are great when they are spinning at there general 39% however whenever they start to go to like 50% or more I just cannot stand the sound.
I am in no way hating on the fans that Evga are giving us on these cards, for all intensive purposes; they work. However I am a quiet freak and if I can get some nice Noctua's to fit in the hole I would be happier.
Thanks in advanced guys!
P.s if you were wondering how I would hook them up, I haven't decided if to use the on board connector on the gpu and just get an adapter to shrink the size of a normal fan header to that of a gpu fan, or to just pop them on my motherboard and have SpeedFan control them when the temps get to a certain level.
Let me know what you think and again... Thanks!
