Should I buy the GTX 980 SC w/ dual ACX or keep my GTX 780 Ti SC w/dual ACX?

Hello fellow gamers, I was just wondering if anyone can help me decide what to do. I want something that is a guaranteed better performer than my current card and the much lower CUDA core count on the 980s has me second-guessing myself. I read that the new cards have much more efficient Cuda cores than the 700 series. Should I get the new card?

    Going from a 780Ti to a 980 isn't much of an upgrade, you should just wait imo.

    The 980 does out perform the 780ti, but the performance increase isn't much worth $550. On top of that, the 980 is having a lot of issues specifically related to displayport. I suggest waiting another month to see how things go.

    Depends what your long-term goals are. If you care about re-sale value, I find it best to upgrade every new series. From a strict performance perspective, it's not worth it. You'll be getting a very minimal improvement.
