I'm fixin' to sell an EVGA PSU that has a 10-year warranty to the original owner (me).  I'm willing to assist with any warranty issues down the road, for the remainder of the warranty period, as long as I'm alive and kicking.

My question is how does this work?  I obviously do not unregister the PSU from my account.  If the new owner has a warranty issue, then they would contact me, I log the RMA, use their address for the replacement, and they send it in.  Is that the process?

Thx for any help clarifying this.  I want to make sure I understand this fully up front.

Our warranties are transferable and when you do sell it you can unregister it and then they can register it to their EVGA account afterwards. The warranty will start from the date it was originally shipped out NOT from the date you or they purchased it. You can read more about our transferable warranty here http://www.evga.com/support/warranty/power-supplies/

It originally shipped out > 3 yrs ago and the transferrable warranty period maxes out at 3 yrs.

Second hand warranties cannot exceed 3 years. You as the original purchaser are entitled to the full warranty period of your purchased product however any secondary owner is not. I apologize for any confusion.
