Sounds like the capacity race is finally moving again. Had 7 out of 18 3tb drives fail in under a year in a raid 10. That is a massive capacity though! I thought the 12 WD 6TB drives I just installed were large! #6

Just to counterpoint, I have Seagate drives with over 5 years of power-on hour counters that I used in my NAS and still work great. I can't say the same about any WD drive I've ever owned.
