Screen goes black and GPU fan goes crazy! Only started after I got 1080 ftw

Problem is listed in title. Is this a card error? The problem didn't occur until I put in the 1080 and only occurs when gaming.

    Summary: The "black screen with 100% fan" is caused by out-of-spec VRM chips. You will need to have your card replaced, either via your retailer or via RMA with EVGA.
