I mean it works, but not as it should. It drops down to 925MHz when I have it set at 960MHz, it fluctuates between 99-100% usage & the slot only seems to be running at 16x 1.1 not 2.0.
It only does this with milkyway, the card works perfectly with everything else (Collatz, Primegrid, Folding, Games & Benches).

And I've reinstalled the drivers (14.11.2 Beta) but that didn't make any difference.

I just find it odd since both my MSI cards are working fine.

Any ideas?

    Bump up the PowerTune setting found near the core & memory overclock sliders if you haven't already?  I had to do that with my 7950 in order to be able to run two tasks simultaneously.  Just a guess.

    Do you have a app_config.xml and if so what do you have in it?
    This is mine: It allows for 9 Total Task to run on Two Cards.
    <app_config>
       <app>
         <name>milkyway</name>
    <max_concurrent>3</max_concurrent>
         <gpu_versions>
             <gpu_usage>0.3</gpu_usage>
             <cpu_usage>0.3</cpu_usage>
         </gpu_versions>
       </app>
       <app>
         <name>milkyway_separation__modified_fit</name>
    <max_concurrent>3</max_concurrent>
         <gpu_versions>
             <gpu_usage>0.3</gpu_usage>
             <cpu_usage>0.3</cpu_usage>
         </gpu_versions>
       </app>
    </app_config>

    milkyway_separation__modified_fit is for the most part the only Task I run.

    Already done so that's not the problem.

    I actually think it's on the locked bios, that might be the reason why it's doing this. I'll switch it and report back.

    It's not that as it works fine for the other cards.
    Mine:

    <app_config>
      <app>
        <name>milkyway_separation__modified_fit</name>
        <gpu_versions>
            <gpu_usage>1</gpu_usage>
            <cpu_usage>1</cpu_usage>
        </gpu_versions>
      </app>
    </app_config>

    Okay, good news! It seems it was just because of the bios, I switched it to the unlocked bios and all is well again.

    Edit: Running 6 tasks concurrently now. They take about twice the amount of time to complete so I don't know if it's worth running like this.
