Are you sure you don't have the SE790C instead?

I didnt notice the N. Is there an actual difference? All the specs look exactly the same. Also, IIRC Samsung changed the model number (name?) a few times since it was shown in 2014. Made it harder to cyber stalk the monitor heh.

Which brings to question... why don't they give monitors catchy names like they do for other components?

Edit: looking at Samsung's website, it seems this is the same hardware? I think all they did was add a letter to the product ID. Again, lol.

It's a quality piece if hardware to be sure. And gaming on it is a pleasure that needs to be experienced.

Having used mine for almost a month, I cant imagine going back to a 16:9 or 16:10 display ever again. Basically 4k+ resolutions are dead to me until offered in 21:9 (or whenever Occulous Rift offers it... then again I've heard rumors the next DK will have a 4k 21:9 OLED display but that's just a pipe dream)

I guess at some point I should do a review of this thing.

I think "4k" in 21:9 would be more like 5k+... gunna need some horsepower to run that one.

I think 4 of big daddy maxwell, provided they aren't titans, otherwise 4 980 kingpin, should be enough to run it. The VRAM is a issue though... DX12 hopefully take care of that though.

There is a lot of hoping and fingers crossed, but will it work, since there has been a lot of talk and now we are waiting for actions instead of words. If they stack vram, then I will gladly make the switch.

Make the switch to new cards. Sorry, there is nothing worth it out at this moment to waste the money on a monitor this wide in 4k+ it would chug at crap rates, and I don't see the point at this time.

    I liked curved monitor.
This is even better than LG model.
I'm fine with 60Hz, anyway no GPU power for more.
    2560x1440p would be gaming resolution.
Always have good options on GPU market for this monitors.
Now that is Titan Z for half money, 6GB but stronger even than GM200.
No joking with Titans, NVIDIA not make mistakes there, same as Intel for Extreme.

I saw 3440 res, but for games with single GeForce probably is better with in game settings 2560x1440p.

I won't be getting 4K+ monitor, till a single GPU can push those kinds of pixels, and with luck, we'll finally see oled/120Hz monitors..

But, I'd love to see a great curved monitor with said specs...
