Anybody with this monitor notice how slow it goes into standby after I shut down the computer etc? It'll stay blinking for another 1-2 minutes before finally going into standby. Seems like the whole time it'll cycle from Analog to DVI to HDMI over and over trying to detect a signal when other monitors will go straight into standby when the computer is turned off.

As a byproduct of this, during restarts it'll go into the blinking phase for a good 20 seconds and by the time it turns on again I'm already halfway through the Windows 7 loadup screen, so I can never see the BIOS/RAID menu on restarts. Gets kinda annoying.

Any fixes??

You need to set the input to Manual. Every Samsung I had in recent years does this.

On the monitor, press Menu>Setup>Source and select manual

Nope, no luck, I went to menu, setup & reset, and no selection for source or manual

Are you sure? I have the same exact monitor as you do.
    Here is what you do:
Under Main Menu, select Setup and Reset

Enter and you will see this submenu:

Now scroll down past this until you see this

Now under Auto Source select Manual and you are done.
