Safe idle temps gtx 1060 6gb non SC

Hi I just got this new gpu today, First EVGA card aswell, I was wondering what average idle temp for this card is supposed to be. With an adjusted Fan profile (EVGA precision x oc) I have the idle temps holding at 40 degrees steady, I was just wondering if this is relativley normal for this card?

    40c is perfectly fine for idle. What are your load temps?

    By ambient temp do you mean like room temp? if so I'd say mid 20's "give or take" and under 100% gpu load it peaked at 73 degrees (Fallout 4 high settings) but average around 65 - 68. I also have a air cooler in my case situated semi close to the card "hyper 212 evo" and an overclocked i5 3570k @4.2ghz. Im pretty noob about this sort of stuff. I do apologize
