So, what do you all think about universities in the United States all of a sudden introducing safe places? It's for people that get offended or "traumatized" (as they referred to it) because others that may disagree with their point of view or their certain prejudices. Which then has them go to these "safe places" so they can be comforted. What do I think? Those people need to be expelled. College, in my eyes, actually have caused more people to be dumber than before they went to college. My the world has changed. Just google "safe place" or "safe space".

Micro? If I gave my opinion on these useless mouth breathers that are wasting oxygen I would be banned. The world sucks, stuff happens, then you die. They are just too self entitled and stupid to figure out the world is rough and they will not get everything their way. Unless you live in California, the laws there may be more their style.

The problem is your social media. It has them clogged with "micro aggression" on their posts and it causes others to have an emotional butt-hurtism and gets them riled up. These people are consistently on facebook or other social media sites, and a lot of times will have others creating social attacks. This "micro aggression" is then brought to actual life and they cannot separate their "social life" from facebook from the real world. They're in that little bubble and they constantly take things seriously where they need that "safe place" because they're constantly offended; it will get much worse in life in less than a decade. Of course if we're still around that is. When you see people threatening their life because of social attacks on facebook, you know it's getting real emo.

When you're taught your a special little snowflake and everyone gets a trophy, you don't have to get the correct answer in a math equation. 3+3=5 is close enough. This is what you get. Special little snowflakes that can not handle when someone else has a different opinion than they do. Snowflakes have a meltdown. It's not all of them, there are some very good young people today. They are defending our country, doing two and three tours of duty. There are some really great kids out there today, just it seems the squeaky wheel gets the attention . The rest will grow up when they hit the real world and have to get a job. When they see their first paycheck with all the tax money taken out, they will realize all the free stuff, is not free. Or when they get fired for having a melt down the first time things do not go their way.

I have never served. I can really see it clear as day the Military adding "safe spaces". If that ever happens, the united states will surely be the carebears of the world.

Safe Places LOL. Safe places are a frame of mind. It wouldn't surprise me if some colleges start hiring somebody to wear teddy bear costumes giving out hugs as a full time position. College kids are way too soft.

a joke is what they are, and someone needs to tell these kids they arn't special. Any taking a liberal arts degree should be told 10% of you may get a job, the rest of you line up at McDonalds your future is a fry cook. They need to be told in the real world there are winners and losers, and with their attitudes they are loosing rapidly. The world doesn't care if you placed 15th, they don't care that your mom told you you can do anything, and these 25yo children need to learn that lesson, no one cares if you think your special, in truth your just another idiot and the only people that care about you are your family, to me and everyone else your nothing but a random moron asking for stuff you havn't earned. Thats the message to give these children in collage.

I'm going to need a job after the military.. A couple branches of the military now allow trainees/recruits to bring their cell phone into training so they can call home on the weekends. I've only been in close to 9 years, and had to get a calling card and 10 minutes lol. Things changed quick, and the military definitely caters to a weaker crowd just so they can get the numbers they need.

Candle, everything you said there, that's something mom and dad were supposed to teach them when they were younger, and then a little more while they were in their educational youth. Apparently it didn't click.

Oh yes, the special little snowflakes and their 'cry-ins' and 'safe spaces' at those lofty institutes of academia where their rallying cry is that "there's no such thing as failing, it's deferred success." One word: pathetic. American colleges teach almost nothing about real life now (based on personal experience after graduating with a second degree as an adult student about 7 years ago) - these institutions are infested with self-absorbed ultra-liberal white-guilt 'professors' constantly trying to 'out-liberal' each other, yet they fail to see the irony in their not tolerating any dissenting opinion while at the same time beating their chests with claims of how progressive, open-minded and tolerant they are... and these people are responsible for bringing forth an entire generation of pathetic, entitled, weak, spineless little snowflakes who expect 6 figure starting salaries when graduating with a bachelors degree of frack-all majoring in 16th century basket weaving and a 2.7 GPA.. either that, or wanna-be gangstas, usually white with a large trust fund. Ok sure that's a generalization, and sure there is the occasional professor who actually is a reasonable person, and sure there is the odd glimmer of hope with the few who make it through the system still retaining a rudimentary grasp on reality, but sheesh, I couldn't believe some of the kids in those classes... seriously I was smh every day. Put every last one of them in compulsory military service for at least 1 year. Suck it up, buttercup. Coddling time is over - you're not a toddler anymore, time to wake the frack up.
