I wonder how many people actually finished Dead Island though.
I did.... finished both Dead Island 1 & finished Riptide - So I will comment that Riptide is more of an expansion pack,.. smaller, quicker story ( cash grab ) Dead Island 1 is the better, longer version..... I still enjoyed them both, bugs & all..

I told myself I wouldn't spend anymore money because I rushed too early in the sale and spent around $100... So whatever sales come out after this, I'm screwed... I need to learn self control. So far I've been 2 days clean... lol
I'm jonzen, The only game I bought so far is Sniper 2 for my father in-law....I seriously cant spend any money and its really hard not to.

That's a pretty nice thing. Doesn't Borderlands 2 also do that? I'm still in the early parts of Dead Island myself, no idea when I'd get to Riptide. I've been wanting to play a good mmo-like zombie game though, open-world and all, that's why I chose Infestation. It just looks like a good fun game to check out.
unfortunately no BL1 and Bl2 doesn't have gamesave import, only Dead Island and Mass Effect do as far as I know
anyway the community vote closed we both lost out, left 4 dead 2 won by 2% lol
BL2 does take notice that you have a BL1 save or at least that you own the game because it gives you some bonus skins. Nothing is carried over though. I wonder how many people actually finished Dead Island though.

Terraria is $2.50! That game is really fun.
I remember the first time that game hit the summer sale, it was selling at a mega fast rate the first couple hours that they changed it from 75% off to 50% off lol

I didnt think it was anything like Borderlands or L4D as both are far better games IMO. To me it felt closer to a REALLY bad version of Skyrim/Crysis as far as the movement/driving mechanics go and Skyrim tends to be a melee centric game. It is the only zombie game/movie/anything that i've seen where you have to hit a zombie repeatedly in the head to kill it. Oh and guns were pretty much useless on the undead, really??!! Sorry rant over, just glad I didnt pay for it. Still waiting for Skyrim to go on sale.... getting impatient.

Yea I snagged Dishonored too, couldn't pass that up for $10.
It has stealth elements, had a nice Metacritic rating, and on top of that its a bethesda game so I know it has great quality

Lol, asking if Dishonored is a good game or not, that's like asking if peanut butter tastes like peanuts. Just sayin' :D
Btw, as far as Dead Island goes, I like it quite a bit, but man they needed to not have such strong language in it, was completely unnecessary and over the top in a bad way. I'm still playing it, but enjoy my time away from the survivors more than around them, lol. Oh, and the only mechanic I hate is that using melee weapons makes me feel like a psychopath with Parkinson's, lol. With a KB and mouse, when I get a whole group of zombies coming at me, all I can do is spin around at random and swing-swing-swing with all my might. Completely unrealistic and annoying. I wanted to set it up to play with my 360 controller, but supposedly it's limited a lot more than the KB+M combo, so I just stuck with the KB+M instead. Otherwise, it's not that bad a game, I've already taken some nice screenshots, and apparently I took a pic of the Jenna Jameson Easter Egg scene w/out knowing that's what it was. I don't care for spoilers or strategy guides unless necessary, so I had no idea that was even in there.
Just as any other form of art, modding is a passion, not just a hobby. We fawn over it, we love it, we hold it near and dear to our hearts, we are passionate about it. We are modders, and we are artists. Also, if you like any of the advice I give, please recommend I get a BR, thanks!

Other then the key activate issue I had (which does have a easy fix I mentioned earlier) I've had no problems at all with uplay and far cry 3. I suggest you keep uplay running cause when you unlock achievements you can get points to unlock more content for the game, one of them being an exclusive single player mission for 40 points.

Where does Ubisoft come into this? Dishonored is Bethesda, not Ubisoft. You know, the people who made Skyrim? If you're talking about Dead Island, that's Deep Silver, not Ubisoft. Neither game requires Uplay.

ahh I see, I had that back when I played Driver San Francisco, forgot about that, the uplay servers are working great now though.

picked up Deus Ex Collection at 85% off, $5.99 for all games LOL, that's what I like to pay  ... old ones, but never played them and was actually thinking about getting some of those a few times. so far I got: Half-Life Complete at 75% off (a few days before Summer sales) Tomb Raider at 75% X-COM dlc at 75% off Deus Ex Collection at 85% off Decided to pass on Metrol:LL at 40% off, will get it next time cheaper, same goes for Bioshock (somehow 50% off on such games doesn't do the trick for me LOL). Was also thinking about getting Might & Magic Heroes VI at 66% off but eventually decided to pass. enough games to play for several months, no time to play out completely even one LOL ... I guess I can't resist some deals ... I am still half way through in AvP 2010 playing marine campaign LOL ... or in Garbage area of STALKER:SOC LOL! ... not even touching games like Skyrim LOL (spent enoug time on Fallout series in past). need to catch up with old games I like, but sadly have not enough continuous spare time to enjoy... with one exception only ... Civilization series (that's my problem I guess LOL!)

Its a love it or hate it game. Most people I know who played it either liked it a lot or hated it. I haven't finished it but its okay so far, leaning more towards meh...really really meh.
