What about the whole hibernation and page file thing to save space...should I do that stuff too? If so, how....I feel so needy, I haven't known so little about a computer component since I was 5 and hadn't touched a computer.

 
That was mostly moved off the SSD to prevent any unnecessary writes to the SSD. You can move the page file if you wish to do so, but you can leave it.
 
Hibernation depends on whether or not you use it.

Okay last rookie question, there are two connection slots on the ssd, one is the short sata power thing, then next to it is basically a longer one. What is that and if its needed where do I get the plug because I don't think I have one :/

One is the SATA power connector which goes to your power supply. The other is a SATA data cable which goes to your motherboard.
 
The connection is no different than a harddrive.

Mobo's yes, some ssd's come with and some do not.

They come packed with the motherboards. SSDs have it if it is a retail install kit and not an OEM one.
