Hi,

I have swapped my 2x5620 Xeon`s for 2x5650.
Before I had 48GB ram visible after installation of 5650, 8GB are gone. I`m unable to get those 8GB recognized on defaults BIOS settings, while 5620 did just fine.
CPU-Z/EVGA E-LEET recognize  48GB ,but windows/bios won`t.
I did some overclocking after that.
Can anyone point me in the right direction how to get my RAM back?
Here are my screens:

Check the CPU sockets for bent pins.

Thx for reply`s guys! I`ve tried to increase my Dim Vref voltage by 50-100mv, but it still didn`t work, I`ve also tried to increase my mem voltage till 1.8V but it also didn`t solve the problem, so now I`m back to 1.64 & 1.63V.
Within few days I`m gonna reseat my cpu`s and try again.

check only one cpu and verify if all memory on this socket is read by bios and  windows ,

    Hi guys :)
Thanks for all the replies :)
I`ve fixed it and running now full 48GB with overclock on :)
Firstly I`ve disabled CPU0 and noticed that CPU1 displays only 16GB instead of 24GB, so during disassembling I`ve noticed that one of my CPU cooler fans pushing abit on a ram and it`s by 1-2mm off to a side compared to the rest, so I`ve reseated all cpu`s and memory next to a fan coolers, made some adjustments to a fan that it`s not pushing on the memeory. After that I`ve got 48GB working like a charm :)
    Thx for all the help!
