Hello, I need your help to set the best overclock for my setup.
2x X5690 ES 2x Thermaltake FRIO 24gb (6x4gb) Gskill 1600MHz 9-9-9-28 24GB GTX480
the x5690 is the multi 26x.
I wanted a 4.5ghz overclock a 4.8GHz or near, does anyone could help me, I'm kinda lost here with the settings.
Another detail, how do I change the divider to 2:8 memories of 2:10 for example?
else specify the signal twitter

Are you by any chance able to explain the signal tweaks CPU0 IOH, CPU1 IOH and CPU0 CPU1, CPU1 CPU0. Don't these values become rather important when hitting high base clocks? I've tried screwing them around a little bit, but doesnt seem to help much, though they would seem valuable.

I do not think there has been anyone from EVGA able to explain what the signal tweaks do due to some confidential information IIRC.

I like 180x25 for 5690s. It's best to validate your CPUs one at a time to find out exactly what voltage they require at your best stable clock then run together using independent settings and fine tune for stability, etc. This way you don't overvolt or possibly undervolt (and have intermittent stability issues). No two chips are alike, ever.

Excellent suggestion. Highly recommended. I have a 0.05v difference between my CPUs, which is quite significant. One way to test this without actually disabling the CPU would be to run prime (or your stability test program of choice) and set the cores affinity to the threads of 1 CPU (this would be 12 if you have hyperthreading on). That way you are only loading 1 processor during testing.

I as well would greatly appreciate it if someone could reupload the templates. I really need to overlock my system again. I lost my setting when the CMOS cleared its self. Thanks, Ian

I´ve saved them as .htm. Anyone know how to upload in this forum, if possible? Edit: Seems there isn´t such an option... I´ll try it on an one-click-hoster with long free-retention time.
