I'm running the 6.29 beta on two of my computers: an e3200 running XP and a Phenom 965 running Win7.  Until recently, both were going along just fine.  Yesterday, the e3200 told me that it had an error running mpiexec.exe and that I needed to run install.bat  It now requires a password.  That's fine on that rig, but I don't want to put a password on the Win 7 one, which is my main rig.  Is there any way around this?

just do the auto login in win7.

    1. enter password for the user

    2. installed bat file

    3. start menu>RUN> control userpasswords2 (win xp) or netplwiz ( win vista and win7 )  then click OK

4 then unclicked the box that say user must enter user name and password to use this computer.

    5 click APPLy

6 enter your user name and password when prompt.

    7 finish.

8 restart and see if it work.

A little something I noticed: Before the password was required, it only used 25% of my CPU.  After the password, it uses 100%.  No change in the config.

Yeah, you need to do the password/.bat thing in order for the -smp core recognition to kick in.  As long as your cooling is sufficient, you should be pleasantly surprized at your ppd!
