Dear EVGA

is it possible to use SLI with a
EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB SuperSC ACX
and a
EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB SuperSC ACX
?
(notice the 2 vs 4 Gb of memory)
or do I need the absolute same card model (same memory amount)?

thank you
Peter

Hello permidion and welcome to the Forums!

The model does not need to be the exact same but the memory will need to match for SLI compatibility. Unfortunately the two cards in questions will not be compatible.

    thank you Joseph
can you develop a bit what you mean by "The model does not need to be the exact same" ?
it still must be a GTX 960, yes?
it must be a EVGA product too, yes?
Im asking because Im looking at some build game pc and the selection of gfx card is limited and the card I already own, the 4GB one, is not in the list of available product, so Im wondering what possibility I have to be able to use the card I already have in SLI
    thank you

They do need to be in the GTX 960 series but the brands do not need to match. You can pair up other GTX 960's (such as MSI, Gigabye, ASUS, etc.) and they will work in SLI with our GTX 960. But the memory capacity will need to match as mentioned above.
