Im not really sure whats going on, but once I have SLI enabled, I start having stutter both watching a video or playing a game as well the performance just tanks. For example, SLI disabled= no stutter, Dota 2 with over 200FPS SLI enabled= Stutters, Dota 2 15-30 FPS This issue keeps coming back, it seems whenever I mess with Geforce experience or Nvidia precision (default value) the stutter starts. I fixed this once or twice with uninstalling Nvidia and fusion cleaned it and disconnected the SLI belt and reconnected it. The stutter just came back few minutes ago I did the whole unistallation thing and the stutter wasnt removed from SLI, going to physically now disconnect/reconnect the SLI belt to see if that would help But anyone is familiar with this issue? Edit: Powered off computer, disconnect/reconnected the sli bridge, Tested dota 2, this time I would be getting 100 FPS compared to 30 fps before, But I still wasnt getting the Full FPS (210 FPS). Disabled the SLI and launched withcer 3, and I was getting 40 FPS with 1 video card (normal) then enabled SLI, launched witcher 3 and then I was getting 80 FPS (normal) Then I tested dota 2 again and now this time FPS to the correct number 210 FPS! This whole thing is just so confusing and Im not sure even sure how what I did fixed the FPS thing.

Hello, thats unfortunate to hear. Not sure if you have already done so but have you tested with a separate SLI bridge?

I wouldn't say that! This thing has came back at least 4 times in the past 2 days and each time costing me 45 minute to fix it or longer. More importantly Im trying to learn what is causing the issue and get to the root of the problem..

I would definitely get another sli bridge. Have you tried moving the sli bridge to the other set of sli fingers on the cards to see if you get the same results when running sli? How do your cpu/gpu temps/clocks look when having the low fps problem in sli?

Yes and Yes , I dont have a individual profile for dota 2 but the global option is on maximum performance!

Did you ever optimise the game using Geforce Experience? If so, you might want to delete the game's configuration file (probably something like config.ini) and then open the game again, forcing it to rebuild the settings. Geforce experience has been known to really mess them up, but I'll admit this is a shot in the dark.

No, Unless it automatically did which I remember last Ive turned those options off at installation, Right now Ive uninstalled Geforce Experience and gonna see if this issue comes back without it.

Test each card separately. I suggest running each card on 3DMark separately. I had this issue a while back, one of the cards were bad and I was able to see which one by running them on 3DMark and eventually one was artifacting like crazy.

Dear Forum, It would have been very nice if anyone could explain to all of us the power management profile under the NVidia Drivers settings. I am running my 4SLI 970GTX's SSC's slightly overclocked by tweaking only the cards power target limit to 103% and using optimal power setting under global NVidia settings with no issues. But I am wondering if it is a proper setting configuration taking always in consideration the cards power demands.
