If I recall correctly the initial PC port was originally planned to release sometime mid 2016 and on the PS4 at the end of 2016. It really sucks for the devs, Crystal Dynamics, cause the first reboot was really good and Rise of the Tomb Raider got good reviews but gets a smaller player base at launch and will likely be forgotten once the PS4 version is released. 




Yea that's what I thought. As I said earlier it seems that due to lackluster sales on the Xbone they had no choice but to push for a early pc release to make back lost money. Oh well not too surprising really that something like this would happen since it's par for the course in the video game industry now.

I got this in my steam library waiting to play but I am going to do a play through of the first one then tackle this one.

I really enjoyed the first one, and so far this one is great (2 hours in)!
