If that doesn't work you can visit CoolerMaster site and order a new side panel or window if they sell just the window.

some input on this...they make headlight buffing sets for plastic lenses for automotive uses. 3M makes an excellent kit that can be used many times over, it is meant to be used with a drill. I have used kits like this, and you can achieve similar results just with a very high grit sand paper and plastic safe finishing or buffing compounds. I have been using 800+ grit sand paper and turtle, mothers, and meguiars compounds for years to fix all sorts of scratches in plastic, glass, paint, varnish, ect. The key is to find a finish product that will not damage the materials you are working with, and to start with a high grit sand paper to remove the heavy scratches, and then use higher grit sandpaper or finishing or buffing compounds to remove the scratches the sandpaper makes when removing the original scratch. This is the kit I mentioned: http://www.amazon.com/3M-...-on-product/B001AIZ5HY

Grabbed the meguars plastx reduced the appearance a bit didnt get rid of the scratches though. I don't own a power drill probably should at this point. But its good enough for now. I plan to build a new rig in the fall anyway when the new chipset/CPU gets released. So ill just get a new case damn plexiglass scratching so easy.

Crusheddream So somehow my side window got some scratches on it and they are not coming off. Anyone know where i can order a replacement window or perhaps the whole panel? Here you go! this will have virtually everything you need from CM. http://cmstore.coolermaster-usa.com/index.php?cPath=18_25 BTW, I have called them before and they state that if it is out of stock is will not be listed. I have seen the HAF X window listed before. Just keep an eye on out for it to be listed.

I plan to build a new rig in the fall anyway when the new chipset/CPU gets released. So ill just get a new case damn plexiglass scratching so easy. Even if you don't have a drill you can still get rid of deep scratches, but it takes much more time. Start with a razor blade and heavy grit sandpaper. Run the razor blade over the scratch to remove the shoulders on the outsides of the deep gouge(be VERY careful with this step). After that, take a flat bock that you can wrap the sandpaper around(this can be anything from a 1"x1" wood block to a old credit card) and use that straight edge of sandpaper over the scratch with some 700+ grit to fully remove the shoulder of the scratch. After that, the grit of sandpaper you use depends on how bad the scratch is. If the scratch is very deep, you will most likely have to start with 400 grit. Use sandpaper over your index finger, and run your index finger back and forth over the length of the scratch. It will create multiple minor scratches parallel with the main scratch, but they can be fine sanded and polished out, the goal is to create a small indentation the depth of the scratch. The goal is to create a little valley that you can polish up where the scratch used to be, so you start with heavy grit sandpaper and use finer grit sandpaper and polishing compounds each time until the main scratch and all the scratches from the 400ish grit sandpaper are removed. Without power tools it can take much more time, but for people new to this repair process, you are less likely to damage soft acrylic when you do this by hand and don't use a drill. Hopefully this more detailed explanation will help someone with this problem later on when they search the forums!
