Hi all. I am planning on re-pasting my 980ti to try and bring the temps down. 
I cant liquid cool it as its in an Alienware Graphics Amplifier.
Is there any advice on doing this? Also want to replace thermal pads but not sure what pads to buy?
Any advice would be appreciated.

    The pads are 1.0mm in depth. There are great repasting guides for the ACX on Youtube, Linus does one with an EVGA 960

    Replacing the thermal pads will not give you any temperature differences. Is your 980ti a blower style cooler or an ACX cooler?

    I was going to repaste and change thermal pads. It has to help, right? 
    My gpu is ​EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti SC+ GAMING ACX 2.0+​

    Repasting with Grizzly Kryonaut or ICDiamond will lower temp a bit.

    Replacing thermal pads won't really do anything.
