It wasn't in reference to musical ability, but rather interest in their opinions about subjects to do with other than where their talents lie. I relate to them strictly for where their talents lie, not what is coming out of their mouths while not performing. My main problem is they believe it's their place to preach about random topics because they have your attention. It's my belief that regardless of what your opinion is about random topics, that their opinion has no more merit than your or mine. Unlike a lot of people I don't put celebs on a pedestal. They are just as flawed as the rest of the world, if not more-so. I'm not going to make value judgments on them in either a positive or negative way for anything other than were their talent lies. To do so puts them above others, which is purely ego driven nonsense.

Understood Brad on many celebs
I just don't think Martina is in that category
I've only bought two Country CD's in my lifetime, namely Martina McBride (every CD) and Shania Twain (best of)
